EQAO Details and Results

The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) develops student assessments based on expectations in the Ontario curriculum. The assessment provides information on the achievements of students, and enhances classroom assessment data collected by teachers through the school year.

The EQAO is an independent agency established by the Government of Ontario. The EQAO's mandate is to ensure greater accountability and contribute to the enhancement of the quality of education in Ontario through provincial assessments and reviews of elementary and secondary schools. Visit the EQAO website for more information.

EQAO testing is completed in English for all of our students.  Students in grades three and six complete the tests of Reading, Writing and Mathematics at the end of May and beginning of June each year.

Valour JK-12 School will complete the tests for the first time in 2015.
