The mathematics in the Academic program for Grades 9 and 10 is less applied and more theoretical in nature. The Academic program is designed for students who plan to go on to university and study Mathematics, Science or related disciplines.

Applied

The mathematics in the Applied program for Grades 9 and 10 is of a practical nature. The Applied program designed for students who plan to go to college or follow some trade or provide some skills and information in the everyday use of mathematics such as personal finance.
