History

Being a Voyageur means; showing courage, being respectful, never giving up and showing that you care. 

Valour JK-12 School is the culmination of years of planning and preparation.  With a strong military connection our school was created as a result of the closure of Pinecrest and General Lake Public Schools and General Panet High School.  All of the afore mentioned schools were located on Garrison Petawawa land and have a rich history of providing a unique and diverse learning environment.  

We are a full JK-12 school that offers a wide variety of Programming for all levels of learners.  In September 2014 Valour opened its doors to our students.  We began the year in three separate sites as the new building was still under construction.  

In January 2015 our JK-8 students moved into our beautiful building followed closely by our High School students in February of the same year.  Our culture of excellence and achievement were now all under one roof.
